Jennifer Lunn
Jennifer's first full length play Es and Flo was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award and long listed for the Bruntwood Prize in 2017. It was subsequently commissioned by Wales Millennium Centre and will be produced Summer 2020.
Other writing credits include: Diaries of a Miserable Unicorn (UK tour 2019/20), Dining with Copernicus (Immersive theatre and dining experience) for The Lab Collective & Polish Cultural Institute, Belief for The 12 Plays of Christmas at The Other Room, Imagine and Clash of the Cosmos for Dirty Protest, Lockdown for SEEN at The Other Room. She is currently developing a full length play about climate change and a family fairytale musical.
Trained originally as a director, she has worked extensively with new writing, co-founding the Write Now new writing festival at Brockley Jack Theatre; commissioning, dramaturging, producing and directing over fifty plays and musicals in the UK and internationally. She spent two years as Head of Projects and Events Production at the National Theatre in London and is now Head of Production for Ellie Keel Productions. She also works as a Storyteller for Read For Good, a charity working with children and families in Hospitals across the UK.
Since moving to Wales she has produced The Last Five Years (Leeway Productions), Bump/Bully (Unsolicited), Lightspeed From Pembroke Dock (Dirty Protest) and The 12 Plays of Christmas (Keiron Self and TOR). She was Theatre Programmer at Chapter and Emerging Producer at WMC.
