Environment.

We take our environmental responsibilities really seriously.
We’re committed to reaching carbon net zero. That's why we've made it a priority - from beach cleans and ending plastic straws, to a new woodland and solar panels. Our place on the planet is one we care about.

Our new green home...

👋 Saying Goodbye to Gas.

Our building is a fossil-fuel-free hero, powered by air source heat pumps!

It’s warm and cozy without harming the planet. By using renewable energy, it cuts carbon emissions, saving the Earth while keeping everyone snug and happy.

🌳 Hello to new habitats.

With lush green walls and roofs, our building will blossom into a nature-lover’s dream! Not only does it boost biodiversity, but it also helps clean the air and cool the surroundings.

A leafy oasis that’s great for both people and wildlife.

🌞 Soaking up the Sun.

Our building will soon shine bright with solar panels, soaking up the sun’s power. By harnessing renewable energy, we can reduce our carbon footprint and help preserve nature.

💧 Collecting Rainwater To Flush The Loos.

Collecting rainwater to flush toilets is a fun, eco-friendly hack!

It’s like giving nature’s gift a second life. By using rainwater, we conserve precious freshwater and reduce energy use, making every flush a win for the planet!

It is with sincere thanks to funders WCVAand The Moondance Foundation that we’ve been able to achieve several of these green initiatives.

What we're doing...

🌱 Planting a new woodland.

Trees are great. They provide natural habitats for insects, birds and bats, take carbon out of the atmosphere and cool the ground beneath them. They’re great for our futures and our souls.

We’re working with Flintshire County Council to plant 1,100 native trees!

📗 The Theatre Green Book.

The Theatre Green Book gives guidelines for our industry to act sustainably. It provides a set of standards for theatre making and venues – including the facilities we have in our buildings and how we use them.

We’re working with to the Theatre Green Book and aiming for the shows we make to follow these standards.

🌍 Working together.

We’re working with, supporting or learning from friends and experts – people who are leading the way in taking sustainable action, locally and globally.

Our company members have received Carbon Literacy Training (provided by the Centre for Alternative Technology and Zero Carbon Britain with in-kind support from Wrexham University) and we’re working with the following inspirational, local organisations to reduce our carbon impact.
