Sinfonia Cymru: Songs of the Earth.

Sinfonia Cymru joins forces with classical and folk violinist Bridget O’Donnell and jazz sensation Misha Mullov-Abbaddo (double bass) to celebrate our connection to the land, water, sun and moon.

The concert is a magical mix of Welsh, classical, folk and jazz music, with something for everyone, from Debussy’s beautiful La Mer to folk singer Gwilym Bowen Rhys’s lovely Lloer Dirion Liw’r Dydd.

Sinfonia Cymru first presented Bridget and Misha’s Songs of the Earth as a project for five musicians in 2022, and it then went on to a big hit in pubs and concert halls across London and was even featured on Cerys Matthews’ BBC 6 Music show.

Now, we're bringing Songs of the Earth back to Wales as an orchestral performance, performed with a unique combination of string orchestra, harp, and percussion.

Sinfonia Cymru is an orchestra featuring some of the UK's best musicians under 30 - get ready for an exciting and uplifting concert.
