Truth or Dare: cast announced for Theatr Clwyd’s brand-new production

Theatr Clwyd are delighted to announce the cast for their upcoming production of Truth or Dare.
The concept has been built on Curtain Up which was performed in September 2021,in response to the Covid pandemic and embracing as many freelance artists in one production. Theatr Clwyd has commissioned ten freelance writers to create ten brand new plays on the theme of Truth or Dare.
Each of these brand-new plays will be captioned in Welsh and English with the scripts being a mixture of English language, bi-lingual and Welsh language. The ten short plays will tantalise and delight with a variety of themes from murder-mysteries, local legends and courtroom comedies.
The twenty actors taking on this exciting challenge includes:

Writing for Truth are Alexandria Riley (The In-Between), Ceri Ashe (Bipolar Me), Lucie Lovatt, Melangell Dolma (Bachu) and Theatr Clwyd’s very own pantomime writer Christian Patterson (Robin Hood the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto).
Dare writers include Greg Glover, Hannah Daniel (Theatr Clwyd’s 2022 Writers in Residence), Kallum Weyman, Natasha Kaeda (In My Lungs The Ocean Swells), Bethan Marlow (Mold Riots)
