How did you get into music?

I loved the sound of the cello when I first heard the BBC National Orchestra of Wales play at my local theatre.

What has been your favourite musical experience?

Too many great experiences to choose from! One particularly enjoyable one was playing in the band for an Old Vic production of 'The Divide' by Alan Ayckbourn at the Edinburgh International Festival in 2017.

What do you like to do outside of teaching?

In addition to teaching I am a freelance cellist playing with orchestras, at events and doing session work. When time allows I like to bake!

What is a fun fact about you?

I speak Welsh, German and am currently learning Portuguese!
