Assistive Hearing System

We are improving our hearing support provision! We have an assistive hearing system for pantomime – the sound from the show is professionally mixed and transmitted to headsets, providing clearer audio and you can control the volume too. To use the system, go to the far end of the bar (furthest from the entrance), where you can borrow a transmitter and headphones (you can bring your own wired headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack if preferred). Alternatively, if you use hearing aids compatible with an induction loop/T-loop, we can provide a personal neck loop.

Ear Defenders

We have a limited number of ear defenders that can be borrowed from our team. You can pick a pair up at the far end of the bar, but please return them to us at the end of the show so that we can clean them and make them available for other customers.

Captioned Performances

We have regular captioned performances.

The caption box changes location from show-to-show to make the experience as good as possible. While we label the best seats to view the box from we’d recommend dropping our box office a quick call to make sure you’re getting the best available seats.

BSL Performances

We have regular BSL interpreted performances. Where possible we advertise who the interpreter is. When booking online the interpreter’s position will be shown on the seating plan when you book (see image above). For details of our captioned and BSL interpreted performances click here.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome hearing assistance dogs.

Speak to our Box Office team if you need help choosing the best seats to book with space to accommodate them or any requests you have for you or your dog.
