Parking

The car park at Theatr Clwyd is owned and operated by Flintshire County Council.

From 1^st Oct 2023 parking charges will apply both during the day and in the evening. However the parking charges are very reasonable and help support Flintshire County Council in the continued maintenance of the car park facilities. Find out how to pay here.

The parking charges are:

• 9am – 5pm
  70p for 2 hours
  £1.70 for all day (up to 5pm)

• After 5pm
  £2 for all evening

Accessible drop off point

Our accessible drop off point has level access to our foyer and avoids the incline from our car park.

This is located at the back of the foyer and can be accessed from the road that runs behind the theatre (on the right before the roundabout if you are coming up the hill from the Northop road or on the left after the roundabout if you are coming from the law courts/ registry office direction.)

Please note: This is a drop off point only, you cannot park here. If you have any difficulties with the drop-off only system please drop us a call and we’ll be able to help.

The distance from the drop off point to our foyer is 46 metres, from the foyer bar to the toilets is 16 meters, and from the foyer bar to Theatr Mix is 14 meters.

Buggy Service

We provide a regular shuttle service for customers who need assistance from our car park to the accessible drop off point. Running from 90 minutes before a performance and again at the end of the performance.

You do not need to book or reserve this service, simply meet the buggy just outside our car park or at the access drop off point after the performance.

There is space in our buggy for wheelchairs or rollators that fold down.
