Parking

The car park at Theatr Clwyd is owned and operated by Flintshire County Council.

From 1st Oct 2023 parking charges will apply both during the day and in the evening. However the parking charges are very reasonable and help support Flintshire County Council in the continued maintenance of the car park facilities.

The parking charges are:

  • 9am – 5pm
    70p for 2 hours
    £1.70 for all day (up to 5pm)
  • After 5pm
    £2 for all evening

There are four ways you can pay for your parking:

#1 - Use the PayByPhone App

The PayByPhone App is simple to use and gives you updates about your parking so you don’t need to worry! It’s available for Android and Apple devices, and signing up typically takes less than 30 seconds – search “PayByPhone” and download to your phone. You’ll need to add your car (you’ll need your car registration) and a payment card and then it’s really simple! It also has alerts & notifications built in!

#2 - Use the PayByPhone Website

The PayByPhone website is simple to use! You can create an account or checkout as a guest. You’ll need to add your car (you’ll need your car registration) and a payment card and then it’s really simple!

#3 - By Phone – By calling 0330 109 6182

You can pay by phone – it’s a little bit clunky if we’re honest, but it does work (if a little slower than the app and website. We’d probably go for the app or website for ease!

#4 - By Cash - Using the Parking Machines

The parking machines are currently (as of Sep 2023) cash only – they can also be a little temperamental and don’t give change. When they work, they’re good!
